MM Surveying Co, Inc is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team. We need a motivated, positive individual who wants to excel at what they do and are willing to work hard! We are family owned company with over 30+ years of experience in land surveying. This position will be responsible for building this area of the business, including assisting in expanding our current survey offerings. This individual will interface with field staff, draft staff, office managers, to complete the work.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Give specific direction and guidance to field crews
• Oversee field survey, including on-site management as-needed
• Provide professional coordination and expertise related to the work of field survey crews and office staff to support work requests
• Review and certify completed survey work
• Serve as head field expert and provide training to junior team member
• Creating relationships with clients and managing projects to meet schedule and budget goals
• Create field and safety guidelines handbook
• Qualified candidates will oversee Boundary, Alta, Layout, Condominium projects and Topographical Surveys, and be well versed in parcel, right of way, and easement research
The Position Requires:
• Current Illinois Professional Land Survey License (PLS)
• Professional communication with clients
• Flexibility to work in the office and field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Total Station, GPS
