Vanderstappen Land Surveying Inc. is seeking a field crew chief. The candidate must be responsible, motivated individual with a minimum of 1 year experience. The successful candidate will be able to perform:
•perform ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys, and construction layout.
•prepare clear and legible field notes to assist the project managers in drawing the surveys.
•perform daily maintenance and careful use of the survey vehicles and instruments.
•represent our company as a professional and knowledgeable field liaison with clients and office staff.
•eventually train and supervise field rodman so they may progress to the crew chief position.
•Autocad Civil 3D is perferred but not a requirement.
Requirements of the position:
•a valid driver's license.
•U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
•high school diploma or the equivalent.
•minimum 1 year experience in the surveying field.
•a desire to expand current surveying knowledge and advance your career.

•perform bending and reaching to both ground level and overhead.
